Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest athletes. Biles was the very first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals in a single Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone was interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for eleven years under the direction of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in the year 2011. In just two short years, she was the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles was notable for her constant performance her enthusiasm and level of effort she introduced every event - vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground exercises.
