Grimes was born in Dayton Ohio the son of a Pentecostal pastor. Grimes graduated with a graduation diploma at Dayton Christian High School, in 2002. Luke Grimes comes from a family of three: Racheal Grimes (his sister), Abby Grimes (her brother) as well as Seth Grimes. The Grimes family was the family of a religious conservative.
