Lis Wihl (born on August 19, 1961) was an American writer and lawyer who was employed by Fox News.
She was an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She's appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File The Kelly File, featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs, as well as The Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She earned her bachelor's from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was previously an US Attorney. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 to 2001. She managed the school's Trial Advocacy Program. From 2001 to the year 2017 Wiehl worked as a legal analyst for Fox News.
